Incorporated in July 2008 and FSA authorised in April 2009, Clavis Walden Investments Limited is an asset management operation specialising in commercial real estate fund management. Based at 20 Piccadilly, in London, the senior investment management team have the collective experience of over 37 years in the industry.

Robin Hill MRICS
Robin is a director and the Head of Fund Management, responsible for investment strategy, stock selection, performance, fund structuring and asset management. Robin, having started his career over 21 years ago at Jones Lang LaSalle, was previously at Rutley Capital Partners, London and Capital and CCLA Investment Management where he led a number of UK and European funds with direct and indirect exposures. He specialises in fund and active asset management with a wide range of experience running a variety of funds for many different investor types covering the direct, listed and unlisted markets. Robin is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Investment Property Forum, the British Property Federation, has a Diploma in Surveying and holds an Investment Management Certificate.

Iain Keys MRICS
Iain is the founding partner and managing director of Clavis Walden. Iain has worked across the main sectors of the commercial real estate industry for 16 years and is responsible for stock sourcing, investment negotiation and finance. Previously, Iain led the Real Estate team at London and Capital, responsible for two UK funds and one in Germany. He was an investment director at Colliers CRE and prior to this at Donaldsons. Iain is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Investment Property Forum, the British Property Federation and has a degree in Estate Management.

Stock sourcing is key to performance and Iain’s network of property agency, fund management and commercial lender contacts provides a rich source of potential assets for the Fund.

With combined experience drawn from both the fund management and the commercial property broking sides of the business, Robin and Iain each bring a complimentary skill-set to the team.
